Lots of people want a little more cushion than their favorite tape allows, but not so much that they’d go with more padded tape. Zipp’s Handlebar Gel Pad Set provides that little extra “aaaah” under the tape.

The set is two curved gel pads, one for the right, one for the left. They’re long enough to run along the tops of your bars and along the ramps to the levers. You can customize them as well with scissors. They’re 2.5mm of gel goodness that goes between your bars and tape.

You can try to unwrap the bars to apply, but it’s easier to start with fresh tape.
