Race Face prefers the Half Nelson because the full is too much. The idea behind Half Nelsons is making a new grip that has the feel of one that has already been well-worn to your liking.

By well-worn, they mean thinned. And these are skinny at 29mm in diameter. The rubber utilized is Race Faces durable and soft super-tacky compound, so your hands and gloves stick with minimal effort.

The finish is half-waffle, meaning its textured, but a low texture, so as to keep a low profile. And the texture is a topographic map style patterns, allowing for sweat and water to slide through away from your hands.

Weight is 92.5g. There are grip locks on the outside of each grip.
