Deda Superleggera Carbon Handlebar 46cm Black

When Deda builds for professionals, they go all out. The Superleggera Carbon Handlebar is feathery light, with a shape that is good for pounding out long miles regardless of road conditions.

The material of choice is Dedas go-to for ultralight components. High modulus HR40 carbon-fiber cloth. They build it into a shape that seems timeless, though its quite modern. The shape is their RHM, Rapid Hand Movement, drop, a semi-ergo compact curve, with 75mm of reach and 130mm of drop. The tops keep the 31.7mm clamp diameter fairly far out, only tapering down to the 24mm clamp diameter as the bars start to curve forward.

One of the benefits of the oversized shape on the tops is that its easy to grasp. Whats hidden from view is the deep channel underneath the tops where both your shift and brake cable housing can hide.

Deda recommends mating these bars with their Superleggero stem.

There are three width options for the bars, 42, 44, and 46cm, measured outside-to-outside. There are two finishes, Black and Polish on Black (POB). The 42cm version weighs 180g.
